The consumer electronics giant, Philips has announced a partnership with two Indian Premier League (IPL) teams, Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR).
The Dutch multinational will serve as the official grooming partner of both teams for the IPL 2024.
Under the tagline “Groom Like a Pro, Play Like a Pro,” Philips aims to associate its brand with the excellence and peak performance embodied by IPL players.
The partnership provides the electronics giant with significant exposure to a massive audience throughout the IPL season. Philips logo is prominently displayed on the helmets of SRH players and featured across various promotional materials.

Philips is a Dutch multinational company with a long history, dating back to 1891. The company started by making light bulbs and has since grown into a giant in the world of electronics and healthcare. It’s worth noting that before this deal, KKR had already secured sponsorships with JSW Paints, Manipal Hospitals, BKT Tires, Dream11, ACKO, Advance Decorative Laminates, and Royal Green while SRH announced partnerships with Centuary Mattress and Dazller for their IPL cheer squad.
Currently placed second in the league, the Knight Riders will be facing the table toppers Rajasthan Royals (RR) today at 7:30 PM IST, meanwhile, the Orange Army, currently ranked fourth in the league table, will play their next match against Delhi Capitals (DC) on Saturday, April 20 at 7:30 PM IST.
