The Indian Premier League (IPL) team, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) have inked a partnership extension with the Indian general insurance brand, ACKO.
Following this deal, the brand will remain KKR’s associate sponsor for the upcoming IPL season.
The team revealed this collaboration through its social media handle, with the caption, “🚨Sponsor Announcement 🚨 We’re delighted to welcome back @ackoindia as our associate sponsor for #TATAIPL2024. 🤝💜”
As part of the deal, the logo of the brand will be featured on the headgear of the Kolkata-based franchise.
Currently based in Mumbai, ACKO was started in November 2016 by Varun Dua and offers a wide range of insurance, including health, travel, vehicle, and bike insurance.
Before this deal, KKR also developed a partnership renewal with the premium alcohol brand, Royal Green.
With the addition of Gautam Gambhir as a mentor, the side will aim to get back to its glory days and hope to clinch the IPL title for the third time. The unit will begin its 2024 campaign on March 23 against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH).
