The Indian Premier League (IPL) team, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) have announced a collaboration with the Indian healthcare institution, Manipal Hospitals.
As part of the deal, the brand has been named KKR’s trusted healthcare partner for IPL 2024.
The franchise’s social media handles announced the partnership. The post said, “With the support of Manipal Hospitals’ legacy of healthcare, there’s nothing Kolkata Knight Riders aren’t ready for! We are elated to announce our proud partnership with Manipal Hospitals in this Indian Premier League.”
Established in 1953 by T.M.A Pai, Manipal Hospitals is a network of multispecialty hospitals in India, with its current headquarters located in Bengaluru, Karnataka. Its network of 28 hospitals makes it the second-largest medical institution in India.
Before this deal, KKR also developed sponsorship agreements with BKT Tires, Dream11, ACKO, Advance Decorative Laminates and Royal Green.
The Shreyas Iyer-led unit will commence its IPL 2024 journey against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at Eden Gardens on March 23 at 7:30 PM IST.
