The Indian Premier League (IPL) team, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) have announced a sponsorship agreement with Dream11, India’s biggest fantasy sports platform.
As per the deal, Dream11 has been named the principal partner of the two-time champions for IPL 2024.
The announcement of this partnership was made on KKR’s social media platforms. The post said, “𝘿𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙢11-𝙆𝙆𝙍 We’re delighted to announce @Dream11 as our Principal Partner for the #TATAIPL2024! With this 𝗗𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗠 partnership, we’re all set to bring you closer to the action and passion of the game. Let’s make 𝙙𝙧𝙚𝙖𝙢𝙨 come true together!”
The most well-known fantasy sports platform in India, Dream11, enables individuals to establish virtual teams of athletes taking part in real matches, participate in competitions, and earn real money if their teams succeed. Handball, baseball, hockey, football, cricket, and basketball are among the many sports that are included. For the forthcoming IPL, Dream11 also partnered with Punjab Kings (PBKS) and Gujarat Titans (GT).
Along with Dream11, the side, led by Shreyas Iyer, also extended an agreement with Royal Green for the upcoming IPL season.
Under the mentorship of Gautam Gambhir, the Knight Riders will aim to clinch their third IPL trophy. The team will begin its 2024 campaign against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) on Saturday, March 23.
