Sreesanth teams up with Blind Boxes to launch NFT

The tokens aim to engage and reward the massive followers of the sports and Sreesanth's fans.

The Indian pacer Sreesanth is all set to launch a gamified NFT collection on Blind Boxes. This new association will let his fans collect one-of-a-kind items that represent him. In contrast to some celebrities who have launched the “cash grab” NFT drops earlier this year, Sreesanth is strong-minded to make an impact with this mission-driven NFT collection.

As the drop date approaches, gamified tokenomics and whitelist details will be revealed. The tokens aim to engage and reward the massive followers of the sports and Sreesanth’s fans.

The 38-year-old has represented India in 27 Tests, 53 ODIs and 10 T20Is and is still eager to play for the nation. The pacer’s NFT collection will feature physical collectibles, digital collectibles, and rarity mechanisms. Given the cricketer’s 3 million active followers on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, there will be a lot of widespread interest on a global scale.

Anita Angelica Moore, CEO of Blind Boxes, said, “We are excited to partner with Sreesanth. We see this as an opportunity for this public figure to share his growth as a human while leveraging NFTs to connect and build value for fans.”

Blind Boxes is a gamified curation stage and launchpad for non-fungible tokens. This highly scalable app enables fan engagements and buyers to discover and collect rare, limited edition NFTs.
