IPL 2024 RCB vs GT: Match preview, head-to-head and streaming details

GT and RCB have faced off against each other four times, with both teams winning twice.

In the 52nd match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024, Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) will lock horns with Gujarat Titans (GT) at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru today, i.e., Saturday, May 4, at 7:30 PM IST.

It’s the second face-off between the two sides, within seven days. RCB won the last battle courtesy of a hard-hitting ton by Will Jacks. Virat Kohli also had an impressive outing, as he scored a fifty. The unit, however, is last in the points tally with just three wins from 10 games, and thus making it 2/2 against GT becomes extremely vital. The home team’s bowling lineup, including Mohammed Siraj, Lockie Ferguson, and co., will be under the scanner at the Chinnaswamy. The side only managed to pick up three wickets in the last match and will aim to clinch a few more tonight.

GT are having a decent season so far, sitting eighth in the points tally courtesy of winning four of 10 games. Moreover, the side even has a horrible net run rate, which it would like to fix soon. The likes of Sai Sudharsan and Shahrukh Khan have got the fifties in the last game and will strive to continue, while openers Wriddhiman Saha and Shubman Gill will want to provide GT with top starts. David Miller has showcased his aggressive approach in quite a few games and will have to put up a similar show if GT want to get those two points. With the ball, Rashid Khan, Mohit Sharma, and Noor Ahmad have felt the downturn and thus would want to put up an impressive performance.

Head-to-Head:

GT and RCB have faced off against each other four times, with both teams winning twice. In their last outing, which took place a few days ago, RCB won the contest by nine wickets.
