Mumbai Indians invite proposals from companies for creation of NFTs

MI have more than 50 million followers across social media platforms and the franchise aims to venture into the sector of NFTs for enhanced fan engagement.

The Indian Premier League (IPL) team, Mumbai Indians (MI) have sought proposals from Indian and global companies for the creation and launch of non-fungible tokens (NFT) based on the team’s intellectual properties (IPs).

Regarding this initiative, the five-time champions have also released a request for proposals (RFP) supplying services regarding the development of NFTs.

The Rohit Sharma-led team has more than 50 million followers across social media platforms and the franchise aims to venture into the sector of NFTs for enhanced fan engagement.

“At Mumbai Indians, we believe in offering our growing fan base world-class experiences they would cherish as individuals and collectively as well. The idea behind initiating this activity springs from the very same impetus. We look forward to having a partner which shares the same ethos and unlocks this initiative as a fan-first engagement, strengthening the bond between the team and fans,” Mumbai Indians spokesperson added.
