The official digital streaming partner of the Indian Premier League (IPL), JioCinema has secured a deal with an online poker platform, PokerBaazi.
The announcement was made via a post on Viacom18 Sport’s LinkedIn handle, revealing the online poker platform as an associate sponsor for the cash-rich Indian league.
The deal has granted the online gaming platform air time to run its latest ad campaign featuring the Bollywood actor, Shahid Kapoor.
JioCinema has been on a roll this season, recently clocking more than 71.5 crore views for the epic clash between Mumbai Indians (MI) and Chennai Super Kings (CSK), which took place on April 14.
Before the start of the tournament, the OTT platform announced six other associate partners for the cash-rich league: HDFC PayZapp, Dalmia Cement, SBI Bank, Britannia, Parle Hide & Seek, and Charged by Thums Up. The addition of PokerBaazi further bolsters its on-air sponsorship portfolio for the marquee cricket tournament.
Tonight, Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) will lock horns with Gujarat Titans (GT) at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru at 7:30 PM IST.
