McLaren Racing onboards eBay as an official partner

The association has enabled eBay deliverables such as branding on McLaren Racing's F1 team drivers, Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris, for four races throughout the year.

McLaren Racing, the British motor racing team, unveiled a multi-year association with eBay, the American multi-national e-commerce company.

Following the pact, the globally renowned online marketplace has been named the official partner by the Formula 1 team.

The association has enabled the company deliverables such as branding on McLaren Racing’s F1 team drivers, Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris, for four races throughout the year, commencing with the Miami Grand Prix on May 5. The arrangement also includes the entity’s branding to be featured at the United States, British and Las Vega grands prix.

As global brands, the partnership will enable both McLaren Racing and eBay to reach new audiences through unique story-telling opportunities with their respective fans and customers around the world, with a focus on community, individuality and passion.

eBay, founded in 1995 in San Jose, California, is listed on NASDAQ. The company specialises in brokering customer-to-customer and retail sales via online marketplaces. eBay has 134 million yearly active buyers worldwide and managed $74 billion in transactions in 2022, of which 49% were from the United States.

McLaren Racing has been on a sponsorship signing spree since the commencement of the year as the unit inked pacts with Logitech G, British American Tobacco, Google, Hilton, DP World, Dropbox, Optimum Nutrition, Ecolab, Workday, Airwallex, OKX, Estrella Galicia 0,0, and Alpinestars.
