IPL 2024 LSG vs GT: Match preview, head-to-head and streaming details

GT have a flawless record against LSG thus far as they won all four games that the two teams played against each other.

In the 21st match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) will take on Gujarat Titans (GT) at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow tonight, i.e., Sunday, April 7 at 7:30 PM IST.

With a convincing win against Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), LSG are decently sitting fourth with four points from three games. The unit saw Quinton de Kock‘s return to form as he struck an incredible 81 runs at a strike rate of 144. KL Rahul and Marcus Stoinis also got a decent start in the last match but couldn’t bat long. Furthermore, Nicholas Pooran is also in great touch and will hope to continue the same tonight. The bowling unit also did an amazing job to clean up RCB. Mayank Yadav, the new pace icon of Indian cricket, is quite unplayable for batters. Naveen-ul-haq, and Manimaran Siddharth were also economical and will strive to continue.  

GT were unfortunate in their last outing against Punjab Kings (PBKS) as they lost the game in the final over of the match. Nonetheless, in four games, the team won two and lost two, sitting seventh with four points. Shubman Gill was at his best as he smashed an impressive 89. Kane Williamson, and Sai Sudharsan were decent, while Rahul Tewatia was also explosive with the willow. With the ball too, the side showcased a brilliant effort to take out PBKS’s nine wickets but gave away many towards the end.
