Following this development, Konami will prolong to be Blaugrana’s official global partner and video game partner. Through this arrangement, the two parties involved aim to expand the collaboration between football and digital entertainment.
The video game company is also entitled to leverage the senior squad along with several assets to conjure content for the production of its game. In addition, Konami will also be able to team up with Barca legends who will be assigned as first-class ambassadors for the deal. The initial agreement between the two entities kicked off in 2016.
