Inter, Konami unveil exclusive multi-year partnership

Konami will collaborate with the club on domestic and international esports projects that will be disclosed throughout the campaign.

The Italian football club, Inter Milan have announced a multi-year sponsorship deal with the video game company, Konami. The deal foresees that the gaming industry giant will serve as the club’s global football videogame partner, youth development center partner and training kit back partner.

As per the deal, Konami’s video game series eFootball’s logo will appear on the back of the training kit for the men’s and women’s first teams as well as the youth squad, starting from the 2022/23 season. Also, the pre-match kit worn by the players during warm-up will also feature the brand logo.

The company will have the naming rights to the Inter Women and Youth Academy training site, which has been the club’s pride and pleasure for a long time. The facility will be called the Konami Youth Development Centre in Memory of Giacinto Facchetti.

Furthermore, the collaboration extends into the realm of gaming, which is Konami’s primary business and a field in which the Nerazzurri have been active for many years through Inter Esports. Konami will collaborate with the club on domestic and international esports projects that will be disclosed throughout the campaign.
