The Italian football competition, Serie A, outfit, AC Milan have inked a partnership with the game developer, Konami. In this association, Konami will become the official training wear partner of the club.
The partnership, which commences on July 1, 2022, will see AC Milan name Konami as the club’s principal partner. AC Milan will also feature the game logo on the front of the club’s training kit before the 2022/23 season.
The club’s training kit that will contain the e-football logo will be displayed at the club’s all training sessions, as well as before the game in domestic and international tournaments.
Speaking on the collaboration, Naoki Morita, Konami Digital Entertainment B.V.’s European President, said, “Konami are very excited to be working with AC Milan once again. Becoming a Principal Partner of one of the biggest football clubs in Europe and also putting our brand on their training kit is an incredible opportunity. We are looking forward to working with the Club and creating an innovative partnership together.”
The team’s new training kit along with the in-depth knowledge of the partnership between the two entities will be revealed ‘in the coming months.’
Konami and AC Milan have been well-known at a global level and as per the two organizations, the association can “strengthen their common status as entertainment powerhouses”.
