The seven times Serie A champions, Bologna FC 1909 have decided to follow the current trend after going into partnership with Chiliz, and launching a BFC Fan Token on the Socios.com app.
The fan tokens will grant the I Rossoblu fans “unprecedented access” to the club. The fan tokens will provide engagement opportunities, which consists of the chance of voting on initiatives by taking part in interactive polls that will be conducted on the Socios app.

Chiliz was founded in 2012, with the view of empowering millions of football fans around the world. The new site states that Chiliz is the official cryptocurrency of Socios.com and allows fans to buy voting rights on several issues at their favourite club. While Bologna is one of the successful clubs in Italy playing in Serie A and has already lifted the title seven times in history. The full details on the BFC fan token are yet to be revealed.
