eToro lands partnership deal with eight Serie A clubs

eToro emphasizes providing financial and copy trading services

Eight clubs from the top-flight Italian football league Serie A have inked a new partnership deal with eToro from the 2021/22 season.

Being a social trading and investment platform, eToro emphasizes providing financial and copy trading services.

The platform will get an opportunity to acquire international exposure thanks to an ‘extensive range’ of numerous opportunities in marketing which comprises media backdrops, matchday LED boards, rights for tickets, and other digital services.

Emanuela Manor, Regional Manager at eToro, commented: “eToro believes that sponsorships are a powerful tool for connecting with the communities at the very heart of a sport. With more people than ever engaging with the capital markets this year, financial education has never been so important.”

In what is to be termed as a ‘significant investment’ into Italian football, eToro will gain partnership rights of Bologna, Cagliari, Genoa, Sampdoria, Sassuolo, Spezia, Udinese, and Verona, and also a LED deal which will only be with Salernitana.

Manor added: “We will be working with the clubs to make the financial markets more accessible, bringing fans closer to the action and educating them on investing.”

eToro also signed a major agreement last month with the top-flight Premier League club Arsenal FC, this deal has helped the platform to strengthen its connections in the UK. The platform has also managed to add other big PL clubs to their portfolio, including Aston Villa, Crystal Palace, Leeds United, Southampton, and Newcastle United.

Presently in Serie A, a lot of buzz regarding numerous fintech sponsors have been going on. The league recently signed a deal with Crypto.com, which was the first innovation and technology partner of Italian football. The deal later helped in building the cryptocurrency company’s previously existing deal with Copa Italia.
