SportZchain has unveiled an association with the Iceland Cricket Association (ICA). In this agreement, SportZchain will be the official NFT partner of the ICA and will be launching fan tokens.
The NFT collection for ICA and the official launch of fan tokens will take place in the second half of 2022.
The collaboration between the two entities has been signed for three years. SportZchain will be the lead sponsor of ICA, the brand’s logo will be featured on the front of the team’s jersey.
SportZchain is based in India and is a blockchain-based fan engagement platform. The firm launches Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) and international fan tokens.
On this association, Vinayak Yannam, Co-Founder and CBO, SportZchain said, “We are delighted to kick off our cricket partnership with a team that already has a global fan following.”
Last year, SportZchain inked a deal with the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) teams – Gujarat Giants, Tamil Thalaivas, Dabang Delhi and Bengal Warriors. The Indian company will soon be launching NFTs of Tamil Thalaivas.
