The Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise, Rajasthan Royals (RR) have inked a sponsorship agreement with the renowned digital services company, Jio.
In this development, the Indian telecommunications company will remain the principal partner of RR for IPL 2024. Along with this, Jio’s branding will continue to be featured on the leading arm of RR’s jerseys.
The IPL champions of the first-ever edition used their social media handles to announce this esteemed agreement. The post said, “All you need is a strong connection and the best teammates. Right, @reliancejio? 💗🤝”
Founded in Ahmedabad in 2007, Jio is a subsidiary of Reliance Industries, with its headquarters currently located in Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra. The telecom company is in charge of an LTE network that covers all 22 telecom circles. Jio has started offering 5G services in 50 Indian cities, which is one of the business’s newest advancements.
The Sanju Samson-led side has also developed sponsorship collaborations with Schneider Electric, BookMyShow, playR, NEOM, UBON, and Poornima University.
The unit will begin its IPL 2024 campaign against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) on Sunday, March 24, at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur.
