The Indian Premier League (IPL) outfit, Rajasthan Royals (RR) have announced an agreement with the leading Jaipur-based educational institution, Poornima University (PU).
As part of the deal, the institution has been named the team’s official university partner for the upcoming IPL 2024 season.
PU is committed to enabling students to succeed in modern society by emphasising innovation and maintaining a high standard of academic performance. Numerous undergraduate, graduate, and doctorate programmes in a variety of fields, including engineering, management, commerce, design, science, and the humanities, are offered at PU.
The university places a high priority on providing students with education that is relevant to the industry, ensuring that they have the abilities and information necessary to be successful in their chosen fields.
Local communities are one of the Royals’ essential cornerstones, and with this relationship, RR hope to connect Rajasthan’s young fan base with the sport and their favourite Royals.
Throughout the season, this one-of-a-kind relationship will include a slew of on-the-ground activations and cooperative activities centred on student involvement at the campus in Jaipur, as well as an emphasis on students’ overall academic and sporting achievement.
Recently, the side also signed commercial pacts with Luminous Power Technologies and Curefoods.
