ISL 2023-24: Bengaluru FC bag new sponsorship pact with Namma Yatri

As per the new arrangement, Namma Yatri has been named the official travel partner of Bengaluru FC for the ongoing ISL 2023-24 season.

The Indian Super League (ISL) side, Bengaluru FC have obtained a brand new partnership with the Indian auto-booking portal, Namma Yatri.

As per the new arrangement, Namma Yatri has been named the official travel partner of the Bengaluru-based club for the ongoing ISL 2023-24 season.

Through this deal, the company will be seen installing an arena outside the Sree Kanteerava Stadium in Bengaluru that will help the fans book tickets for autos and will also provide incentives to the auto-rickshaw drivers in the form of tickets for the BFC’s selected games during the season.

Speaking on this new alliance, Darren Caldeira, Director of Football, Bengaluru FC, said, “We’re really glad to be partnering with a brand that identifies as a community in Namma Yatri. As a club, we have tried to give back to the people in every way possible and in that aspect, our vision aligns well with that of the brand. I’m really keen to see the possibilities of this partnership.”

Through this partnership, our goal is to unite these communities for a more profound and collaborative experience”.

The leading open mobility app in India, Namma Yatri, was created by Juspay Technologies with the goal of enabling drivers to provide their services directly to customers. Namma Yatri, which is based on the Open Mobility Protocol, enables drivers to offer populace-wide, practical, inexpensive, secure, and interoperable mobility solutions. Over 1.3 crore trips have been completed by drivers, who have made more than INR 190 crore in total without receiving any commissions.

Before this deal, the unit already signed partnerships with companies such as Bombay Shirt CompanyJarDove Men+CareARC-Athlete RecoveryXPS NetworkSun KingEat SureJockey India, and Quest Global

The Blues are currently trailing in this current edition, as they are standing ninth on the points table. Till now, the unit has not looked in its flair touch, as it has secured only one win, faced two losses, and obtained three points. The Bengaluru-based football team will be looking to bounce back against FC Goa on Wednesday, October 25 in Bengaluru.
