MLS kicks-off multi-year partnership with Discount Tire

Discount Tire will be integrated into MLS broadcasts as part of the agreement.

The leading football tournament in North America, Major League Soccer (MLS) has developed a multi-year partnership with one of the biggest independent tire retailers, Discount Tire.

Discount Tire will become the official tire retailer of the MLS, the MLS All-Star Game, and the MLS Cup as a result of the collaboration.

The renowned tyre brand will be integrated into MLS broadcasts as part of the agreement. Discount Tire will receive marketing on MLS Season Pass and Fox, participate in in-stadium promotions, offer customer giveaways and fan experiences, and implement marketing and community engagement programs at several US locations.

The ANC agency facilitated the arrangement on Discount Tire’s behalf.

Michael Zuieback, Executive Chairman at Discount Tire, said, “As a longtime fan that has witnessed the tremendous growth and interest in soccer in the U.S., I couldn’t be more excited than to have Discount Tire named the Official Tire Retailer of MLS. We look forward to partnering with MLS to support local neighborhoods and to bring Discount Tire’s message of making tire buying easy and inviting to fans and viewers nationwide.”

Carter Ladd, MLS Chief Revenue Officer, commented, “We are proud to welcome Discount Tire as an official partner as the league continues to grow. Consumers trust Discount Tire and we look forward to working together to further reach and engage with MLS’ loyal fanbase.”

Discount Tire, based in Scottsdale, Arizona, is an extensive independent tire and wheel company. Bruce Halle launched the firm in 1960, and it today has over 1,100 locations across 37 states. In much of the United States, the firm is known as Discount Tire, whereas in California and Pennsylvania, it is called America’s Tyre.

The brand has already formed ties with MLS teams such as Inter Miami, Portland Timbers, Seattle Sounders, FC Cincinnati, Nashville SC, and Chicago Fire.
