GK TMT, a leading rebar manufacturer from the REAL Group, announced a partnership with the mighty Mumbai Indians (MI), the five-time champions of the Indian Premier League (IPL).
GK TMT has been unveiled as the official steel partner of the Mumbai-based franchise.
The news was unveiled on the brand’s social media, with Mr Ramesh Agrawal, Co-Founder and Director of REAL Group, expressing his enthusiasm via a video message.
The deal was facilitated by SuperCorp, a brand alliance agency specializing in the entertainment and sports sector. Mr Yashovardhan Ganeriwala, Founder & CEO, SuperCorp, also shared the development on Linkedin.
REAL Group, headquartered in Raipur, Chhattisgarh, is a prominent integrated steel and power company, with GK TMT rebars being one of its flagship products.
SuperCorp, established in 2015, before this, also brokered the agreement between Royal Challenges Bengaluru (RCB) and KPT Pipes.
This partnership adds to MI’s impressive roster of sponsors, including Alan’s Bugles, Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI), Castrol and BP, Goldi Solar, Kaspersky, Skechers, NIC Ice Cream, Astral Pipes, Pokémon, Sanghvi S3 Group, and playR.
The Hardik Pandya-led team kicks off its IPL 2024 campaign on Sunday, March 24, taking on Gujarat Titans (GT) at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad at 7:30 PM IST.
