Delhi Capitals (DC), the Women’s Premier League (WPL) team, have extended their partnership with a well-renowned nutrition brand, Optimum Nutrition.
Optimum Nutrition will continue to serve as Delhi Capitals’ official sports nutrition partner.
The initial pact was established between the two parties in 2021 for the Indian Premier League (IPL). The brand also went on to partner with the Delhi-based unit for the inaugural WPL season.
Optimum Nutrition, a subsidiary of the Glanbia global nutrition group, has its cutting-edge production facilities located in Middlesbrough, UK. The nutrition brand distinguishes itself as one of the select few sports nutrition companies manufacturing across every product category. Notably, Optimum Nutrition, recently, forged a multi-year partnership with McLaren Racing.
DC have also announced collaborations with several prominent brands for the ongoing WPL edition – Puma, NueGo, MyMaster11, Greenpanel, GMR Sports, JSW Paints, and JBL – fostering a robust ecosystem of support.
Currently positioned third in the WPL’s league table, DC competed in two matches, securing one victory and enduring one defeat. The unit’s upcoming clash is against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) on February 29 at 7:30 PM IST.
