NueGo joins Delhi Capitals as associate sponsor

Under the agreement, the NueGo logo will be featured on the leading trousers of DC's official playing and training jerseys.

The Women’s Premier League (WPL) team, Delhi Capitals (DC) have announced an association with NueGo, an intercity electric AC bus service by GreenCell Mobility, for the upcoming edition.

In this development, the unit unveiled NueGO as its associate sponsor, which will allow the entity’s logo to be featured on the leading trousers of the team’s official playing and training jerseys.

The arrangement between the two parties involved has been forged by ITW.

This collaboration marks a significant expansion for NueGo, complementing its existing alliance with Chennaiyan FC (CFC) in the Indian Super League (ISL) reaffirming the company’s dedication to promoting eco-friendly transportation solutions nationwide. By aligning with DC, NueGo aims to extend its footprint across three major sporting domains in India: cricket, football, and kabaddi.

The Delhi-based WPL team will begin its campaign against Mumbai Indians (MI) at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on February 23. Their star-studded team includes Jemimah Rodrigues, Shafali Verma, Poonam Yadav, Radha Yadav, Meg Lanning, and Laura Harris. The tournament’s first leg is in Bengaluru, followed by matches in the capital city. Delhi will host the crucial eliminator and grand finale on March 17.
