AS Saint-Étienne, Sorare extend association

The five-year agreement will expire at the completion of the 2026-27 season.

AS Saint-Étienne have reaffirmed their partnership with Sorare, a non-fungible token (NFT) fantasy football system.

The five-year agreement will expire at the completion of the 2026-27 season.

SPORTFIVE, a worldwide sports marketing firm, facilitated the collaboration. The marketing firm had also been included in the two groups’ first partnership, which was disclosed in 2020.

Jean-François Soucasse, the club’s Executive Chairman, said, “We are delighted to continue this partnership which offers AS Saint-Étienne a great exposure to an international audience and which allows its supporters to interact and play on an original platform.”

Nicolas Julia, CEO Sorare, stated, “We are very happy to extend our partnership for the next five years. We are currently launching new sports on our platform, but continuing to offer ASSE fans the opportunity to play with their favorite players was very important for us.”

Sorare, established in Paris, has partnered with the Bundesliga, LaLiga, and Major League Soccer (MLS) as well as a fresh agreement with the Scottish Professional Football League. In May, Sorare announced a collaboration with Major League Baseball (MLB) and the MLB Players Association to create a new NFT fantasy baseball application.
