Scuderia Ferrari and HP forge landmark multi-year title partnership

Under the terms of the partnership, Scuderia Ferrari will be renamed Scuderia Ferrari HP.

The most successful Formula One team, Scuderia Ferrari and the leading technology company, Hewlett-Packard (HP), have established a multi-year title partnership.

Under the terms of the association, Scuderia Ferrari will be renamed Scuderia Ferrari HP. This branding will span the entire organization, encompassing the Scuderia Ferrari Formula 1 team, the Scuderia Ferrari Esports team, the F1 Academy series, and the Scuderia Ferrari Driver Academy. HP will gain prominent logo placement on the Scuderia Ferrari HP F1 cars, driver overalls, and team kits, solidifying their presence within the high-octane world of F1.

Beyond branding, the partnership signifies a strategic collaboration. The Prancing Horse will leverage HP’s cutting-edge technology solutions, including high-performance PCs, advanced collaboration tools, and top-of-the-line printing equipment. This technological boost aims to enhance Scuderia’s performance on the racetrack, optimizing processes and driving innovation.

Ferrari and HP expressed a shared vision of pushing the boundaries of sustainable innovation and purposeful technology. This commitment suggests a future collaboration that extends past the racetrack, potentially leading to groundbreaking advancements in areas like sustainable engineering.

Benedetto Vigna, CEO of Ferrari, said, “Our founder passed on to us his continuous will to progress. From this stems our drive to innovate on the road and on the track, as well as our commitment to a sustainable future, from carbon neutrality to the education of the younger generation. In HP we have found the same values, which make it an ideal partner. We look forward to starting our collaboration and facing new opportunities and challenges together.”

Enrique Lores, CEO of HP Inc., said, “With technology, performance and exceptional craftsmanship fuelling the future, the partnership between HP and Ferrari is a natural fit. Both brands are built on rich histories that have endured the test of time. Through this unique collaboration, we also have an opportunity to reach new audiences, drive business growth, and create lasting impact for our shared clients and communities. Together we will leverage the global stage of racing to accelerate sustainable innovation.”

Hewlett-Packard, or HP, began in 1939 as a single company creating electronic test equipment. Over the years, it grew into a giant of the tech industry, offering a wide range of products from computers and printers to business services. In 2015, HP split into two separate companies: HP Inc. focuses on personal computers and printers for consumers, while Hewlett Packard Enterprise caters to businesses with servers and software solutions.

Building on this momentum, HP also recently secured a landmark association with the LALIGA giant, Real Madrid CF. This historic agreement has made HP the first-ever brand in Los Blancos’s history to have its logo featured on the club’s uniform sleeve.

Before this announcement, Scuderia Ferrari signed pacts with Harman Automotive, ZCG, CEVA Logistics, and Peroni Nastro Azzurro 0.0%.

The debut of the Scuderia Ferrari HP branding will take place at the upcoming Miami Grand Prix, scheduled for May 3-5, 2024.
