AFC Bournemouth renew Tru Talent alliance for 2023-24 season

Tru Talent will act as an official partner of AFC Bournemouth's community sports trust.

The Premier League club, AFC Bournemouth have announced a partnership extension with a recruiting firm, Tru Talent.

For the 2023–24 season, Tru Talent, a 2020-founded recruiting business that specialises in the automotive and commercial industries, will once again act as an official partner of the club’s community sports trust.

As the club enters its third year of collaboration, the connection is strengthening with the company funding the Mental Health and Wellbeing Initiative, which takes place throughout primary and secondary schools around Dorset.

Owing to the surge in children’s mental health since covid-19 and the fact that 83% of youngsters claim the pandemic affected them, this issue has continued to be of utmost importance. In the past year, it was also reported that 18% of youngsters aged 7 to 16 had a likely mental condition, emphasizing the importance of such sessions.

The seminars, which are provided in collaboration with Tru Talent, seek to investigate the emotions of the students while also teaching them how to enhance their mental health and well-being.

The brand delivered 61 sessions last season and received positive feedback from both instructors and students, who remarked on how interesting they all were.

Rob Mitchell, Commercial Director, AFC Bournemouth, said, “We’re thrilled to have Tru Talent on board for another season and we look forward to continuing the great work that we’ve already done together. Their support of the Mental Health & Well Being programme is so important and really benefits so many young people in the Bournemouth and Poole area.”

Toni Taylor, Managing Director of Tru Talent, commented, “Tru Talent are delighted to be sponsoring the AFCB Community Sports Trust mental health and wellbeing projects for another year! Being part of this project within our local community, where we’re able to educate young individuals about important challenges they my face and equip them with skills to enhance their wellbeing, is hugely important work and incredibly rewarding and we can’t wait to see the amazing work being delivered by the Community Sports team throughout the next year.”

The side also recently inked sponsorship agreements with Dental on the Banks, Uber EatsDeWaltCare SouthIFX PaymentsDun & Bradstreet, and Vitality. Following two games, AFC Bournemouth lost and drew one game, each. After scoring just one point, the team is determined to prevail in its upcoming match against Tottenham Hotspur on August 26.
