AFC Bournemouth pen down sponsorship deal with Vitality

As part of the deal, Vitality will continue to serve as the official wellness partner of AFC Bournemouth.

The Premier League club, AFC Bournemouth have announced a sponsorship renewal deal with the UK-based insurance company, Vitality.

As part of the deal, Vitality will continue to serve as the official wellness partner of the PL team.

The agreement includes naming rights to the stadium as well as sponsorship of the men’s and women’s teams of the club.

Since 2015, the Cherries’ home field has been known as Vitality Stadium, and this new three-year agreement will ensure that it does so at least through the summer of 2026. In accordance with the contract, Vitality will also keep the naming rights to its East Stand and Main Stand.

For many years, AFC Bournemouth and Vitality have had a wildly successful cooperation that has benefited fans and the larger community.

The Vitality park run, a 5k neighbourhood event held in Kings Park, was the culmination of Cherries’ Kickstart programme, an effort supported by Vitality that promotes people to be more active.

Vitality, a leading employer in Bournemouth and the main partner of the club’s Community Sports Trust provides cutting-edge health and life insurance. This division of the club offers classes to people of all ages at locations in Dorset and the Isle of Wight.

Jim Frevola, President of Business Operations at AFC Bournemouth, said, “We are delighted to extend our partnership with Vitality and thank them for their continued support. They are very active partners and help the club promote an important health and wellbeing message to all our supporters. Their support for our Community Sports Trust and our flourishing women and girls’ set-up is also valued greatly and very much appreciated. When the new owners were carrying out their due diligence, Vitality stood out as a key brand and strategic partner, which is why we are so pleased they will continue their backing for at least the next three years.”

Neville Koopowitz, Chief Executive Officer of Vitality, said, “We’re delighted to be building on our long-standing partnership with AFC Bournemouth. The club shares our commitment to encouraging healthier and happier lifestyles for their community, which reflects one of our core values at Vitality. Not only are we impressed by the work they do, but it’s also a pleasure to be able to support the town of Bournemouth, where one of our biggest UK offices is based.”
