IPL 2024 RR vs GT: Match preview, head-to-head and streaming details

Gujarat Titans hold the upper hand in head-to-head encounters, having triumphed over Rajasthan Royals on four occasions out of five.

Rajasthan Royals (RR) lock horns with Gujarat Titans (GT) in the 24th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024, scheduled for April 10, 7:30 PM IST at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur.

RR currently reign supreme at the top of the points table, boasting an undefeated record of four wins from four matches. In stark contrast, GT find themselves in seventh place, having secured only two victories amidst three losses.

The Royals head into this clash brimming with confidence after their convincing win over Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB). Jos Buttler‘s explosive return to form, coupled with the consistent brilliance of skipper Sanju Samson and Riyan Parag, has solidified their batting department. Their bowling attack presents a formidable challenge as well. Trent Boult and Nandre Burger and the seasoned duo of Yuzvendra Chahal and Ravichandran Ashwin have expertly controlled the flow of runs and provided vital wickets. However, a strong showing from young prodigy Yashasvi Jaiswal would further bolster their batting prowess.

The Titans, on the other hand, enter the contest with a two-match losing streak against Punjab Kings (PBKS) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG). Their campaign has lacked consistency, with their batting heavily reliant on Shubman Gill and Sai Sudharsan. Experienced candidates like Kane Williamson and Vijay Shankar are yet to come to the party. The recent injuries to David Miller (niggle) and Wriddhiman Saha (back spasms) have further hampered their batting options. Their bowling attack, spearheaded by veterans Rashid Khan, Mohit Sharma, and Umesh Yadav, needs to step up and provide better support to the likes of Noor Ahmad, Spencer Johnson, and Darshan Nalkande.

Head-to-Head:

Historically, the 2022 IPL champions hold the upper hand in head-to-head encounters, having triumphed over the 2008 IPL champions on four occasions out of five. However, with their current form and unwavering momentum, RR under the leadership of Samson will be determined to rewrite the narrative at their home ground.
