IPL 2024 RCB vs SRH: Match preview, head-to-head and streaming details

In the 23 games between the two teams, Hyderabad won 12 whereas RCB won 10.

In the 30th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024, Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) will lock horns with Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru today, i.e., Monday, April 15, at 7:30 PM IST.

Its been a horrendous season so far for Royal Challengers Bengaluru, as they have just won one game out of six, with their net run rate also hindering at -1.124. One of the main issues that the unit has faced is finding the right combination of players. RCB even had to keep their most expensive trade, Cameron Green, and the most expensive buy at the auction, Alzarri Joseph, out of the game, while there were also talks to replace Faf du Plessis with someone else. With the bat in hand the side has managed to set up a good score, with Virat Kohli, du Plessis, and Dinesh Karthik at the forefront of the batting card, it is the bowlers that are giving them a tough time. With another game at the Chinnaswamy Stadium, it will be crucial to see what RCB does differently tonight and whether they can finally grab another two points.

SRH are doing quite well in the tournament, sitting fourth in the points tally, with three wins from five games. The likes of Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma have been consistently giving top starts in the powerplay. The newbie Nitish Reddy has also showcased his skills and with the game in Bangalore tonight, it is a perfect opportunity for the talented young cricketer to highlight his power-hitting ability. Though Aiden Markram and Heinrich Klassen couldn’t score much in the last outing, they wouldn’t be thinking much about this. With the ball too, skipper Pat Cummins is doing a wonderful job with executing plans and rotating bowlers. Bhuvneshwar Kumar also enjoys a decent record against Virat, with four dismissals in the IPL.

Head-to-Head:

Head-to-head, SRH slightly surpasses RCB. In the 23 games between the two teams, Hyderabad won 12 whereas RCB won 10. One game also concluded without an outcome. RCB defeated the opposition by eight wickets in their last match, which occurred last season.
