The defending champions of the Indian Premier League (IPL), Gujarat Titans (GT) have signed a partnership with the American global watch manufacturing brand, Timex.
Following the affiliation, Timex has been named the official timekeeper of GT for IPL 2023.
The Ahmedabad-based franchise announced its brand new association through its social media platforms.
Founded in 1854 as the Waterbury Clock Company in Waterbury, Connecticut, and reformed in 2008 as Timex Corporation is a global watch manufacturing company that provides a variety of watches from analogue to digital range.Â
Previously, the Titans bagged companies such as Bisleri, Cybeart, Equitas Bank, JioCinema, Havmor Ice Cream, and Rario in its sponsorship portfolio.
The Hardik Pandya-led franchise will be looking forward to defending its title this season, and want to be the third team after Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Mumbai Indians (MI) to retain its title for consecutive times. They will initiate their 2023 campaign against CSK in the opening encounter at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on March 31.
