Following the association, Havmor Ice Cream has been named the official ice cream partner of GT for IPL 2023.

The Gujarat-based franchise used its social media platforms to reveal its brand-new association.

Havmor Ice cream, which is currently headquartered in Ahmedabad, was founded in 1944 by Satish Chandra Chona in Karachi (now in Pakistan) as ‘Hava More’. After the partition, Chona moved to several cities such as Dehradun and Indore, but he opened the company’s first outlet in Gujarat as Havmor. The company makes a delicious range of ice creams that have been popular among people all over the country. In 2017, a South Korean company, Lotus Confectionary acquired the Indian ice cream entity for Rs 1,020 crore.

Earlier, the Gujarat-based unit amplified its sponsorship portfolio by adding companies such as Bisleri, Cybeart, JioCinema and Equitas Bank.

The Hardik Pandya-led team made its IPL debut last season and won the league itself. The Titans will be back once again with a mission to defend the title in this upcoming edition and be the third team along with Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Mumbai Indians (MI) to retain the trophy successfully.

They will be facing CSK in the opening encounter of the season on March 31 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
