The Indian Premier League (IPL) champions, Gujarat Titans (GT) have signed partnerships with Equitas Bank and JioCinema.
In this development, Equitas Bank has been named the official associate partner by the defending champions. Equitas Bank is a commercial banking company founded in 2016 as a microfinance lender. The company is headquartered in Chennai and is a subsidiary of Equitas Holdings Ltd.
On the other end, JioCinema has been roped in by the team as an official partner for the 2023 edition of the competition. JioCinema is a premium OTT platform owned by Viacom18, the official OTT rights holder of the IPL, with headquarters in Mumbai and provides content in multiple languages.
GT used their social media handles to unveil the two new associations.
Prior to this development, the Gujarat-based team also partnered with Cybeart and Bisleri.
In the player auction, GT managed to sign Kane Williamson among other cricketers and is all set to hit the ground running as the franchise takes on Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the season opener on March 31.
