US Soccer announces multi-year collaboration with New York Life

As part of the agreement, New York Life has been named US Soccer's official life insurance partner.

The official governing body of soccer in the United States, US Soccer has inked a multi-year partnership with one of the biggest mutual life insurance companies, New York Life Insurance.

New York Life has been named US Soccer’s official life insurance partner, in addition, it has also been named the presenting partner of the US Youth Soccer division’s National Championship Series.

The pact has also enabled the entity to be the presenting partner of Coach for Community, US Soccer’s grassroots coaching initiative.

U.S. Soccer, Chief Commercial Officer, David Wright, said, “As we continue to navigate through some of the most pivotal years for soccer in our country, we look forward to working together to celebrate soccer’s history in the U.S., while positively impacting the next generation of soccer fans, players and coaches across the country. We’re thrilled to welcome New York Life to the U.S. Soccer family and our growing portfolio of purpose-driven strategic partners.”

Recently, US Soccer also partnered with the worldwide hotel business, Marriott Bonvoy, in January.

New York Life’s arrangement with US Soccer is followed by the insurance company’s agreement to form similar partnerships with Major League Baseball (MLB) and youth baseball’s Little League International.

According to the deal, New York Life has been designated as an official sponsor of Little League and the Little League World Series, as well as the presenting sponsor of the MLB Little League Classic.

New York Life Chief Marketing Officer, Amy Hu, stated, “We’re excited by the opportunity to foster regular digital, stadium, and in-person connections that resonate with our key client segments.”

The back-to-back announcements of the collaborations confirm New York Life’s intention to associate substantially with top-tier US sports organisations.
