A-League onboards Boost Mobile as official telco partner and major partner

The agreement also involves Boost Mobile being a major partner of the forthcoming A-League All Stars event.

The prime Australian football league, A-League has developed a sponsorship deal with Boost Mobile, the world’s largest youth-focused telco brand.

Through this deal, the brand has become the official telco partner and major partner of the Isuzu UTE A-League Men’s and Liberty A-League Women’s Finals Series.

The agreement also enables the brand to award the Boost Young Footballer of the Year as part of the A-League Dolan Warren Awards, as well as being a major partner of the forthcoming A-League All Stars event, which will take place on May 24 at the Marvel Stadium in Melbourne.

With this collaboration, Boost Mobile enters the Australian football scene for the first time and adds to its already impressive portfolio of sports sponsorships, which includes naming rights properties in motorsport, surfing, skateboarding, and other sports.

Boost Mobile has worked for more than two decades at the confluence of sport and culture, wherein it can effectively contribute to Australian sports fans while supporting the influence that such sports have on communities around the nation.

Peter Adderton, Founder of Boost Mobile, commented, “Boost Mobile is all about fighting for the best possible deals for our customers. Today’s announcement expands the reach of the Boost brand at the same time as we are expanding our products and services from mobile to broadband and home internet, which is coming soon. We can’t wait to introduce our brand to the Australian football community. Football is leading the way in youth participation and is the fastest growing sport in the country.

“It cultivates some of the most passionate and loyal fans in Australian sport, and we look forward to seeing where our A-Leagues partnership with their Finals and All-Stars Event takes us. We are excited to be a part of the game as we further explore Australian football culture and its impact beyond the game into areas such as street culture, fashion and more.”

APL Commissioner, Nick Garcia, said, “We’re excited to be welcoming Boost Mobile to the A-Leagues partner family. Boost has shown across its existing partnerships that its level of support for the partner sport and athletes is unmatched. We’re excited to see how they bring to life our partnership across the A-Leagues Finals Series and A-League All Stars, no doubt creating value for our fans in the process.”
