Sony Sports to broadcast over 400 hours of LIVE cricket

Sony will broadcast the Ashes 2021/22 in four different languages.

Sony Pictures Sports Network (SPSN) is all set for the perfect winter cricket action that will be coming across the globe. The channel will dominate Indian television sets with the coverage of premium international cricket action with the broadcast of The Ashes 2021, Big Bash League, Lanka Premier League, and West Indies tour of Pakistan from December 5, 2021. Fans will enjoy almost around 400 hours of cricket on SONY SIX, SONY TEN 1, SONY TEN 2, SONY TEN 3 and SONY TEN 4 channels starting December till January.

The Ashes 2021-22:

Sony Network successfully broadcasted the India tour of Australia and now is all ready to telecast the oldest rivalry in cricket, The Ashes 2021-22, starting December 8. Australia won Ashes 2017/18 with a marvellous scoreline of 4-0 and later retained it in 2019-20. The score currently is 33 for Australia against 32 for England. This tour will determine if the Aussies domination will continue or England can level the scores.

The Big Bash League 2021: 

The list goes on with another celebrated T20 league around the world, The Big Bash League. Sony Sports will telecast the 11th edition of the league on SONY SIX (English), SONY TEN 3 (Hindi) and SONY TEN 4 (Tamil & Telugu) channels. The league will commence on December 5. 

The Lanka Premier League 2021: 

Another lucrative T20 event that Sony Sports will feature on their network. Lanka Premier League will have superstars across the globe playing in the league. Sony can expect a huge viewership from India with timings being a mutual friend. The channel will broadcast the league on SONY SIX and SONY TEN 2 channels starting from December 5. 

West Indies tour of Pakistan 2021: 

The tour is starting from December 13 that will see cricket back in Pakistan. West Indies will play 3 ODIs and 3 T20Is and all the matches will be held in Karachi. Both the teams will contest for a place in next year’s ICC T20 Cricket World Cup 2022, which is to be held in Australia. Catch the live action on SONY SIX and SONY TEN 2 channels.
