SIX5SIX agrees multi-year kit deal with Estoril

SIX5SIX and Portuguese football club Estoril have announced an agreement for a multi-year kitting and merchandise partnership. As part of the deal, the new kits will comprise features of Estoril and SIX5SIX’s unique design language.

The kits will be available for sale on the club’s official website and stores in Estoril and also on the website of SIX5SIX. Hugo Leal, the Director of Football at Estoril, expressed happiness at the agreement, and are hopeful of expanding their reach in India with this partnership.

“This is a partnership that marks a reencounter with history of two countries and emerges as a commitment to the internationalization of the club. SIX5SIX is the official brand of the Indian Football Team, very competitive and can help us to grow our market with potential.”

Estoril, or Grupo Desportivo Estoril Praia, is a well-known club playing in the second division of the Portuguese League, the Liga Portugal 2. It has played in the premier division in the past. Estoril also boasts Everton coach Marko Silva and the current Portuguese national team manager Fernando Santos as former managers.

Ambar Aneja, Co-Founder and CEO of SIX5SIX, called the deal a pivotal moment for them as Estoril is the biggest football team they have signed on their platform to date. It will also help them to expand its current Indian operations to the European market, especially Portugal. Aneja thanked the entire team of Grupo Desportivo Estoril Praia and is looking forward to building a new identity for the club.

SIX5SIX is a sports and streetwear venture started by siblings Ambar and Avni Aneja. Over the last few years, it has made quite a mark in Indian football, having sponsored the football teams of Kerala and Pune. It is also the current official kit sponsor of the Indian national team. Alongside these deals, it also sponsors the Indian Super League team FC Goa and the Nepalese Biratnagar City Football Club.
