The inaugural champions of the Indian Premier League (IPL), Rajasthan Royals (RR) have signed a partnership with the Indian insurance entity, SBI Life Insurance.
Following the partnership, SBI Life Insurance has been named the official lead helmet partner of RR for the upcoming IPL 2023.
The Jaipur-based outfit announced the brand new collaboration through its social media platforms.
SBI Life Insurance is an Indian insurance company that was started as a joint venture between the State Bank of India (SBI) and the French financial institution, BNP Paribas Cardif. The company aims to provide insurance plans to millions of families with the help of their products in the form of protection, pension, savings, and health solutions.
Before this development, RR added companies such as Luminous Power Technologies, BKT Tires and Mahindra SUV.
The Royals had a very terrific season last year, but they weren’t able to cross the finishing line against Gujarat Titans (GT) in the grand finale, ending up being the runners-up.
This time around, they would like to go a step ahead and are eyeing lifting their second title after 2008. The Sanju Samson-led side will be starting its 2023 campaign against the 2016 champions, Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) on April 2 at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Hyderabad.
