Puneri Paltan, the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) team, have announced a partnership extension with the Germany-based company, Schaeffler Group.
For the upcoming season, the Pune-based kabaddi team will be powered by Schaeffler. The initial partnership between the two parties involved was inked last year when Schaeffler was named the associate sponsor for the eighth season. Schaeffler Group will continue to be featured on the back of the player jerseys.
The unveiling of the partnership was done by the team through its social media handles, with the caption, “Always aiming to do better, just like the Paltan! 💪
We are excited to announce that the #BhaariPaltan will be powered by @schaefflergroup for Pro Kabaddi Season 9.”
Schaeffler, the German manufacturer of element bearings for automotive and industrial, was established in 1946 by brothers Dr Wilhelm and Dr.-Ing. E. h. Georg Schaeffler.
Ahead of the commencement of the new season, Puneri Paltan also landed a partnership with Force Motors and Shiv Naresh.
The new Pro Kabaddi League season is set to begin on October 7, 2022. The season will be played until mid-December. Puneri Paltan finished sixth on the points table with 66 points last season.
The competition will take place in Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Pune. The forthcoming season will kick off with Dabang Delhi taking on U Mumbai. Puneri Paltan will commence their season 9 on October 8 against Patna Pirates at 7:30 PM IST in Bengaluru.
