An Indian traditional apparel brand, Manyavar has announced a collaboration with the Indian Olympic Association (IOA). As part of the deal, Manyavar will be India’s official style partner for the forthcoming mega-events such as Commonwealth Games (CWG), Asian Games 2022, and Paris Olympics.
In this new agreement, Indian athletes will wear Indian outfits and will celebrate India which will give them a feeling of patriotic pride.
Manyavar unveiled that its a great honour for the firm to represent the best talents in various fields such as Dutee Chand, Dhanlaxmi Sekar, Ronaldo Laitonjam, David Beckhame, Manpreet Singh and P.R Sreejesh. Athletes will proudly display Indian wear, which is the most important symbol of Indian culture.
At the association, IOA Secretary General Rajeev Mehta, said, “It is a great sign for the Indian Olympic movement that popular and respectable brands like Manyavar are stepping up to support our athletes. Our athletes deserve the best whatever the occasion and a brand like Manyavar will ensure that they are ambassadors of Indian culture and traditions not only on the field but off the field as well.
