Los Angeles Lakers, the National Basketball Association‘s (NBA) most successful franchise, have partnered with PRIME Hydration, the beverage company co-founded by social media stars Logan Paul and KSI.
This deal has enabled PRIME to be the official sports drink of the Laker Nation everywhere.
The partnership was made public through the social media handles of both entities, which featured the popular influencers rocking Lakers uniforms and energetically posing with the beverage.
PRIME Hydration, launched in 2022, has partnered with major players in the sports arena by becoming the official hydration partner of football clubs like Arsenal FC, FC Bayern Munich, and FC Barcelona (FCB). This was followed by a major deal in 2023 with the UFC, making Prime the MMA competition’s official sports drink. PRIME’s sports ventures extend beyond the octagon, as it recently became the exclusive official hydration drink partner of the World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE).
With 17 championships (tied for most), Los Angeles Lakers are NBA royalty. But currently sitting at ninth in the West, LeBron James, Anthony Davis, and D’Angelo Russell will need to turn up the heat to secure a playoff spot. The NBA team’s next test comes against Sacramento Kings on March 14 at 7:30 AM IST.
