Karim Benzema confirms that Kylian Mbappe will join Real Madrid CF

Kylian Mbappe's contract will end in the 2021/22 season.

It’s been a see-saw story when it comes to Real Madrid CF and Kylian Mbappe. At one stage it looked almost certain that Kylian Mbappe will be arriving at the Bernabeu but things have not gone according to plan for Fiorentina Perez. In the end, Real Madrid had to settle for the defensive midfielder Eduardo Camavinga who has been very good up until now.

Real Madrid CF made some big offers to Paris Saint-Germain in the last summer transfer window but PSG wasn’t interested. However, with the 2021/22 season, Mbappe’s contract with the Ligue 1 club will also end. This means he will be a free agent and PSG will have to let him go for free.

Real Madrid CF striker Karim Benzema has reaffirmed that Mbappe will be joining the Los Blancos. The French international said in an interview with L’ Equipe that ” it’s only a matter of time” before Mbappe arrives in Madrid.

He said it himself. He wants to see something else,” Benzema said about Mbappe. “He will play for Real one day. I do not know when. But he will come. It’s just a matter of time.”

Real remain the best club in the world,” Benzema said.

Reconstruction or not, it’s a new football, a new generation, new players. We have to invest in young people so that they one day become great players

“I am here to help them. I talk to them a lot. I want to improve them. When you improve others, you improve the team and you get a lot of satisfaction from it.”
