In the 15th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) will host Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru today i.e. Monday, April 10 at 7:30 PM IST.
After a thumping victory over Mumbai Indians (MI) in their first game, RCB’s momentum came down crashing after a massive defeat against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) last week. The robust batting line-up collapsed in a competitive run chase as they succumbed to the opponent’s spin bowling unit. The Bangalore-based unit had the game in its grasp in the first inning but the side let it slip due to poor bowling at the death, which was followed by sub-par batting. Returning to their home ground, which is also a batting paradise, could work for Faf du Plessis and his team. The 2016 finalists will look forward to bouncing back and going up the ladder in the points table.
On the other end, Lucknow are in a comfortable position at the moment with a couple of victories in their three games so far. The team will be walking into this fixture on the back of a victory against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and will be confident enough of bagging one more win in a batting favourable condition. KL Rahul is yet to fire in the season but the likes of Kyle Mayers, Krunal Pandya and Amit Mishra have provided vital performances. A win tonight will help LSG to acquire the top spot on the points table.

The two sides played twice in the previous edition and RCB won both fixtures. In their last outing, which took place in the playoffs, Bangalore won by 14 runs.
