MRF reportedly concludes its partnership with ICC

Following an eight-year collaboration as the ICC's global partner, MRF made its decision just two weeks before the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024.

The Indian multinational tyre manufacturing company, MRF has reportedly concluded its collaboration with the international cricket governing body, the International Cricket Council (ICC).

Following an eight-year collaboration as the ICC’s global partner, the tyre manufacturer made its decision just two weeks before the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024, according to the sources.

The West Indies and the USA will host the ninth edition of the Men’s T20 World Cup, involving 20 countries playing 55 games for the coveted title.

MRF had a long association with the international cricketing organisation, and there are reports that several other high-end sponsors are dissatisfied with the way international cricket is managed and are reevaluating their relationship with the ICC.

On the other hand, the global cricket administrative body extended ties with Aramco, a leading integrated energy and chemicals company. The new agreement reinforces the energy company’s status as the ICC’s premier partner.
