IPL 2022: Mumbai Indians extend deal with Cadbury Dairy Milk

Cadbury has five manufacturing units in India and has a market share of more than 70%.

The Indian Premier League (IPL) team, Mumbai Indians (MI) have announced an extension of the collaboration with Cadbury Dairy Milk as the official goodness partner ahead of the 15th season.

As part of the agreement, the brand will double the total runs scored in all Mumbai Indians matches to provide health insurance to daily wage earners through its NGO partner Nirmana.

MI announced this partnership on its social media platform. The post said, “Partnership ho toh aisi! 🤝 We are excited to announce @cadburydairymilkin as our Official Goodness Partner for #TATAIPL2022 💙”

With the “#SayThankYou” initiative, the goal of this deal is to spread the message of acknowledging the unacknowledged. This is a continuation of the generosity journey, in which Cadbury Dairy Milk recently committed a portion of the proceeds from the sale of its limited-edition ‘Thankyou’ bars to this cause, which supports insurance for thousands of daily wagers.

Cadbury has five manufacturing units in India and has a market share of more than 70%, the highest Cadbury brand share in the world.

Cadbury Dairy Milk, one of the company’s most popular brands, is a benchmark for other chocolates in India and is regarded as the “gold standard.”

For the upcoming season, the Rohit Sharma-led team has also signed sponsorship deals with Strata,  SliceUsha International and Bombay Shaving Company.

The five-time winners will once again aim for glory as they begin their IPL 2022 campaign against Delhi Capitals (DC) on March 27 at the CCI stadium in Mumbai.
