In the 43rd match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022, Gujarat Titans (GT) will go toe-to-toe with Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) on Saturday, April 30 at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai at 3:30 PM IST.
Gujarat Titans are having an outstanding outing in their debut season of the IPL. GT have played eight games so far out of which they won seven and ended up on the losing side just once. Just when the team is on the verge of losing a game, a new hero stands up and takes the unit over the finish line. The top order looks robust with Wriddhiman Saha, Shubman Gill and Hardik Pandya. The likes of Rahul Tewatia and Rashid Khan in the middle and lower-middle order provide batting depth to the team. The last ball finish against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) must have boosted the confidence of the Gujarat-based team. With 14 points, GT have acquired the number one spot on the points table.
On the other hand, Royal Challengers Bangalore are missing out on the opportunities to maintain their spot in the top four of the points table. RCB will be heading into their upcoming game on the back of two consecutive defeats. The batting line-up of the Faf du Plessis-led team has been finding it difficult to post a respectable total on the board. The Bangalore-based team played nine games so far, won five and lost four matches. With 10 points, RCB have occupied the fifth spot on the leaderboard.
