In the near future, Socios.com will air its first-ever TV commercial across major channels in Brazil.

Fluminense of Brazil’s Série A and SL Benfica of the Primeira Liga have announced a new partnership to launch fan tokens on Socios.com.

Fluminense joins Atlético Mineiro, Corinthians, Flamengo, So Paulo, Vasco da Gama, Palmerias, Internacional, and Bahia as the ninth significant Brazilian team to collaborate with the blockchain-powered fan interaction and rewards app.

Commenting on the deal, Mário Bittencourt, President of Fluminense, said, “The agreement opens a universe of innovation possibilities for the club’s growth in the digital field and will offer new ways for the club to engage with and interact with fans”.

Alexandre Dreyfus, Chief Executive of Chiliz and Socios.com, commented, “Brazil’s biggest clubs are backing our vision and are committed to using Socios.com to enhance the fan experience for hundreds of millions of supporters at home and around the world.”

Brazil, along with Europe and the United States, is identified as a crucial market for the company, which has regional offices in Sao Paulo, Madrid, London, Istanbul, Miami, Malta, and Lyon. This year will also see the opening of an office in Milan.

In the near future, Socios.com will air its first-ever TV commercial across major channels in Brazil. Lionel Messi, the global brand ambassador for Socios.com and former Italy and Juventus star, Alessandro Del Piero will appear in the commercial.

Meanwhile, Benfica has become the first Portuguese club to join Socios.com, less than a year after signing an agreement with the Portuguese national team.

Domingos Soares de Oliveira, Chief Executive of Benfica, said, “The club had been paying very close attention to the digital assets market and is constantly focused on searching for and delivering a positive experience to our huge global fanbase which includes both members and supporters.”
