FIFA pens down sponsorship expansion with Betano

The tournament will see Betano target fan involvement by offering a responsible sports betting encounter.

The international football governing body, FIFA, has augmented its collaboration with the Brazilian online sports betting firm, Betano.

The partnership which originally began at the end of last year, by naming the company the 2022 FIFA World Cup’s regional sponsor, will now sponsor the FIFA Club World Cup in Europe and South America, which will feature regional champions from five continents competing for an international title.

Real Madrid, Wydad Casablanca, Seattle Sounders, Al Hilal, Al Alhy, and Auckland City will compete in this year’s Club World Cup.

Julio Iglesias Hernando, Betano, Chief Commercial Officer, said, “In 2022 we were honoured to partner with FIFA on a World Cup. After a historical FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, we are thrilled to extend our collaboration as Official Supporters of the Club World Cup in South America and Europe. We at BETANO love football, and partnering with FIFA brings us closer to the sport, and to millions of football fans around the world allowing us to offer them an engaging, superior quality and responsible sports betting experience.”

This new arrangement is followed by the emphatic collaboration between FIFA and Betano, where the latter became the FIFA World Cup’s first-ever betting partner.

Through this collaboration, Betano intends to use its patented software and portfolio to provide a ‘top quality and responsible betting experience’ to a worldwide football audience.
