WrestleMania XL smashes gate, viewership and several more records to become the most lucrative WWE event in history

WrestleMania XL saw viewership increase by 41% over both nights compared to last year's record-breaking audience.

The professional wrestling federation, World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) has declared that WrestleMania XL has become the company’s most profitable and successful event ever.

Over the course of two nights at Lincoln Financial Field, WrestleMania XL attracted 145,298 spectators, shattering the previous record established at WrestleMania 39 by 78 percent. Supporters from 64 nations around the world and all 50 US states attended the event.

The star-studded event, which included The Rock, John Cena, Undertaker, and many more, also saw viewership increase by 41% over both nights compared to last year’s record-breaking audience.

Moreover, compared to the previous record set at WrestleMania 39, merchandise sales in collaboration with Fanatics increased by more than 20 percent. Along with this, WWE World at WrestleMania, presented by Fanatics Events, became the company’s highest-grossing and most-attended fan event to date.

The biggest event of WWE, which saw Cody Rhodes dethrone Roman Reigns after more than 1316 days and clinch the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship, recorded numerous sponsorships. PRIME Hydration, Snickers, WWE 2K24, C4 Energy, Wheatley American Vodka, and more sponsored the flagship WWE affair in Philadelphia.

With more than 660 million views over the course of two days, WrestleMania XL rose to the status of the most socially watched WrestleMania ever. Over 67 million people watched WWE’s YouTube channel in a single day on WrestleMania XL Sunday (Monday IST), making it the most viewed day in the channel’s history.
