In this deal, Liquid will support both the men’s and women’s teams at the home of the Championship club, The Hawthorns.
Liquid will be a silver member of the executive club for the whole of the 2023–24 season, receiving publicity at each home game. As part of the deal, the brand will receive advertising on the crowd-facing LED system at The Hawthorns, in concourse areas, and in the match program.
The sponsorship continues Liquid’s tradition of collaborating with and supporting regional and national sports, such as Aston Villa FC, the DP World Tour‘s Betfred British Masters, England Golf, Sport England, the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games, the Cyrille Regis Legacy Trust, the British Transplant Games, Transplant Sport, and Birmingham City Women.
Liquid is a comprehensive PR, social, digital, and design company that aids companies in many industries in gaining a competitive edge. Liquid was founded in a Bromsgrove garage in 2004 and since then has expanded from a modest PR start-up to a multifaceted communications consultant with a staff of over 35 people.
Chief executive Elisabeth Lewis-Jones, said, “Our teams across the globe love sport in all its forms, so we’re extremely proud to be sponsoring West Bromwich Albion. Over the years, we have supported many sports organisations and understand that sport isn’t just about the competition on the pitch or the field, but also a catalyst for economic growth and the opportunity to leave behind a legacy.
“What’s more, sport has the power to unite communities, instil a sense of civic pride and showcase the people that make a region great. We know that we have immense pride in our home and favourite teams, so we can’t wait to join everyone in cheering on West Brom from the sidelines.”
Tomasz Chadwick, Head of Commercial at West Bromwich Albion, said, “Liquid is led by immensely passionate individuals, that understand how important the sporting industry is and the impact it has on communities across the world. Liquid has gone from strength to strength in recent years, expanding internationally at an exciting rate due to their ability to provide creative support to entities of all sizes and briefs. We’re proud to have fostered such a strong relationship and look forward to a successful season in partnership.”
