Uber Eats has signed a sponsorship deal with the French Football Federation (FFF) that will run from June 2022 until the Women’s Euro 2025.
Uber Eats, the title partner of Ligue 1, is expanding its influence and exposure in French football by becoming a major partner of French teams.
To celebrate this announcement, Uber Eats released a photo of their famous insulated bag in blue colours. At the same time French football players Paul Pogba, Raphael Varane, Presnel Kimpembe, Hugo Lloris, and Antoine Griezmann are featured as part of the collective picture.
Bastien Pahus, General Manager, Uber Eats France, Switzerland and Belgium said, “We will be sponsoring the matches of the French teams, whether in the League of Nations or during the Women’s EURO, broadcast on TF1 and M6. On this occasion, we will unveil advertising spots with the players of the French teams.
“We will also be the first sponsor to highlight the players as much as the players: you will therefore find the players around the matches of the French team”
The photo posted by Uber Eats also includes five players from the women’s squad. A French squad that will compete in the Euro 2022 tournament this summer in England.
This collaboration was organized by the French sports marketing section of the Omnicom Media Group network, which supports Uber Eats’ whole football strategy.
Matthieu Caste, Director of Sports Partnerships at Fuse France said, “The matches of the French teams are more than ever moments of sharing and celebration between all football fans but also between all generations. It therefore seemed obvious to us to anchor the brand in these meetings in addition to our presence every weekend at Ligue 1 Uber Eats matches.”
